Charlamagne And Wendy Williams Reunite, Take Photo “Together”

It looks like Wendy Williams and The Breakfast Club’s Charlamagne have reunited for the second time after years apart.

The TV host shared the news with The Wendy Williams Show audience that her and Charlamagne met up for an afternoon of fun and giggles.

“I don’t know who I’ve become, I like her,” Williams said on the show. “We’re two loose cannons. I can only take Charlamagne in small doses.”

The pair were former co-workers during Williams’ WBLS radio days. Legend has it that Charlamagne stopped working with Williams because of ex-husband Kelvin aka Kevin Hunter. According to Charlamagne, Hunter accused him of trying to hook up his mistress Sharina Hudson with bodyguard to Charlamagne, Wax.

“The reason we fell out was because of [Kelvin’s] mistress,” Charlamagne told Andrew Schulz on Brilliant Idiots. “I have not talked to [Wendy] since the day Kevin texted my phone and said “I don’t f**k with you anymore, you did some foul s**t.”

Hunter caused the rift between Williams and Charlamagne, which resulted in them not talking for years. Williams even went on the Elvis Duran Show and pretended to not know Charlamagne when asked a question about him.

After Hunter was exposed for having a baby with his mistress, Williams pursued a divorce. The news quickly got back to Charlamagne. In April, he was courageous enough to call the distraught pop culture icon. Williams was shocked to hear from her longtime buddy. It was the first time in years that they had talked. They would later go out on a double dinner date.

“It was just good for us to clear the air on a lot of things,” Charlamagne said on The Breakfast Club. “I’m all about healing and letting go of toxic people in your life…When you let go of toxic people in your life, that’s a big step in loving yourself.”

Finally, after several months passed, the two had a chance to catch up with each other on a private, platonic date.

“He made me cry. He teared up. We’re talking about people and situations…Talked about who’s the donkey of the day, or the year, or of life,” Williams said of the casual encounter.

The pals cemented the memorable moment by taking a photo together with Charlamagne looking directly into the camera and Williams looking away from the camera.

CORRECTION: Charlamagne announced on The Breakfast Club that Wendy Williams wasn’t actually in the photo, instead it was one of her wigs.
