It’s hard to imagine that humans once didn’t inhabit the Earth and massive sized, lizard-like animals ruled the planet, but that’s what director Colin Trevorrow so effortlessly demonstrates in the new prologue trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion.
A five-minute clip shows a smoky landscape full of vegetation, serene rivers and lakes, and a multitude of dinosaurs trudging along muddy paths and soaring the clear skies. The script penned by Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael is set 65 million years before present-time where viewers see exactly how the Jurassic World dinosaurs came to be.
Chris Pratt, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Bryce Dallas Howard are among the actors that will reprise their roles in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchise.
Jurassic World: Dominion is expected to be released on June 10, 2022.
