During an interview with actress LisaRaye McCoy, host Wendy Williams made a thrilling revelation to a very enthusiastic audience. The pop culture queen revealed to everyone that she is “very claimed”.
McCoy’s interview was filled with juicy tea as she spoke about the affairs of her former husband, what’s his name. While it was interesting to hear how actor Duane Martin and serial host Rocsi Diaz allegedly interfered with her marriage, this news wasn’t the best part of the interview.
The last year has been filled with disappointments and challenges for Wendy Williams. The radio legend has dealt with the embarrassing news of her husband and business partner, Kevin Hunter, having a baby with his mistress. There’s been several interviews of her crying her eyes out at the mention of her situation with Hunter. Amid the cheating scandal, an altercation broke out between her son and Hunter in a parking lot, causing her son to be detained temporarily.
She also experienced health issues that played out on TV right in front of audiences when she fainted last Halloween and came to the set with a fractured shoulder. To top it all off, Williams had to go to a rehabilitation center to reprioritize her life.
Any regular human being might have faltered under these harsh circumstances, but not Ms. Wendy. Through blood, sweat and tears, she continued to press forward. Williams moved out of her Jersey home to a condo in New York. She started making new friends in the industry with people like Blac Chyna, Jason Lee and Tiffany Haddish. Then, she opened herself up to meeting and dating new people.
Now, the million dollar lady has found a suitor. Towards the end of the interview with McCoy, Williams asked her what was going on in her love life. McCoy responded, “Not a thing.”
Williams asks, “So, you’re totally eligible?” “Look, like you,” McCoy said. Then, there was that very redemptive moment that fans had been waiting for. A very coy Williams responded, “Oh, no, no, no. I’m getting a divorce, but I’m very claimed. I’m very claimed.”
The audience went wild, cheering and screaming. McCoy looked absolutely stunned and happy for Williams.
The mystery man has yet to be revealed, but fans are very happy about the confirmed news. It was a good moment for all the women looking to reclaim their lives and bounce back from a volatile relationship. Wendy Williams, now in her 50s, is a living example of a strong, resilient woman with instant bounce back.
