Actress Niecy Nash has split from her husband of eight years, electrical engineer Jay Tucker. The Claws star made the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 30th.
“We believe in the beauty of truth,” she posted. “Always have. Our truth is that in this season of our lives, we are better friends than partners in marriage. Our union was such a gorgeous ride. And as we go our separate ways now, we feel fortunate for the love we share – present tense. Thank you all out there for your support of us as a couple over the last eight years. We are grateful.”
The couple met at a party in 2009 and married in 2011 in a beautiful Malibu ceremony.
The glamorous and sexy Nash doesn’t seem bothered at all. Recent posts on her IG show her enjoying herself, dancing in a leopard bodysuit to Drake.
For Halloween, she dressed up as the lovely Jenifer Lewis wearing her infamous Nike red carpet look.
Nash will be featured on an upcoming episode of TV One’s Uncensored where she talks about her first divorce and her family going through tribulations.
The episode premieres Sunday, Nov. 3rd at 9 PM PST on TV One.
