The criminal case against rapper Dave East has been dropped. According to TMZ, East’s attorney, Stacey Richman, was able to submit proof that East was injured in the altercation that took place at the Delano hotel in Las Vegas.
The injury caused East to have to be treated for a concussion. Richman petitioned that the concussion proves that East “attempted to responsibly quell the situation.”
East posted about the news on his Instagram. “I told y’all I was innocent,” he posted.

The Wu-Tang: An American Saga star faced battery charges after an altercation broke out in the middle of him having a threesome at a hotel.
One of the women allegedly was upset because she wasn’t receiving enough attention and started throwing bottles across the room, injuring East. East put her out of the room when the police were called.
East recently dropped his new single with Nas called “Godfather 4”. The single is from his debut album Survival, releasing Nov. 8.
