Beyonce makes it easy to claim Texas, especially in these times. Although the superstar mother of three often splits her time between the east and west coasts, she still hasn’t lost that southern sauce.
The “Bigger” singer dazzled fans with a new above the mold visual for her athleisure brand IVY PARK, the Rodeo Collection. In the minute and a half clip, Beyonce appears on fairgrounds where rodeos traditionally take place, surrounded by fire, horses, and one single ride carousel horse.
She returns to her signature honey dipped curls, reminiscent of her Austin Powers Goldmember era, while wearing the dopest, easy-access pants ever made…chaps. Other looks include bodycon dresses, denim two-piece fits, and midriff bearing tops.
Paying homage to Houston, the visual includes notable cameos from Houston rap artist Tobe Nwigwe and The Originals, consisting of his wife Fat and group member and producer Nell, “Beating Down Yo Block” rapper Monaleo, “Whoa” singer Snoh Aalegra, “Legends Never Die” masked country singer Orville Peck, plus-size model and Uncut Gems actress Paloma Elsesser, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom actor Glynn Turman.
IVY PARK x Adidas Rodeo Collection, which will include 58 new selections, is available on August 19th.
