The Game Loses Appeal In Sexual Assault Case, Ordered To Pay $7.1 Million

The Seventh Circuit Courts have upheld the decision of the lower court for rapper the Game, born Jayceon Taylor, to pay a $7.1 million judgement to sexual assault victim Priscilla Rainey. The court denied his appeal on Oct. 17th.

Rainey was a contestant on the VH1 reality dating show ‘She’s Got Game’. She claimed that the rapper sexually assaulted her on a date at a Chicago sports bar during the timing of the production. Rainey, who was competing on the show to be in a relationship with The Game, says that the rapper aggressively rubbed her private parts without her permission.

Rainey ended up confronting the Game in front of the cast and crew, but the incident ended in a heated exchange and she was kicked off the show. She filed and won her lawsuit against the “Hate It Or Love It” rapper in 2016.

The Game ended up losing the case because he did not show up to court and attempted to push back dates several times.

The Game recently announced that he would be dropping the last album of his career. He’s also been circulating tributes to late rapper Nipsey Hussle, which has drew a lot of public criticism as many fans accuse him of clout-chasing.
