The best shows (and jobs) are the ones that involve a combination of food, travel and good stories. The new Netflix show Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner not only contains all of these elements, but also has the added bonus of award-winning chef David Chang as host.
Chef David Chang will travel the world with his celebrity friends to discover the culture and best food of each city. Throughout the journey, the featured guests will tell their own personal stories.
This season will feature Lena Waithe, Seth Rogen, Chrissy Teigen and Kate McKinnon. Produced by Tremolo Productions, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will show these celebrities going to their favorites restaurants, vacation spots and family hangouts in Vancouver (BC Canada), Marrakesh (Morocco), Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and Los Angeles (United States).
In one particular episode, Lena Waithe tours Los Angeles with Chang as they explore her favorite breakfast restaurant, nail shop and sneaker joint. During the experience, Waithe, who is the creator of TV series The Chi and writer on the upcoming movie Queen & Slim, talks about her meteoric rise in the entertainment industry.
This is just one example of the fun that’s in store for Chang. Seth Rogen will explore the marijuana in his hometown, Chrissy Teigen rides camels with Chang, and Kate McKinnon goes on a food tour in Cambodia.
Executive producers on the show include David Chang, Morgan Neville, Blake Davis, Dara Horenblas, Caryn Capotosto and Christopher Chen.
