Dave Chappelle is risking his life this weekend to bring fans a three-show performance at The House of Blues in downtown Houston. Houstonians didn’t waste any time snatching up the $252 priced tickets that went on sale on Monday.
The event will have safety measures in place to reduce COVID-19 exposure. All attendees are required to follow social distancing guidelines and wear face masks inside the venue. Mandatory COVID-19 tests will be administered before patrons are allowed to enter the establishment. For those who test positive, they will be offered a refund.
COVID-19 cases continue to rise as the state of Texas remains in full operation. In Harris county alone, there are 175,959 confirmed cases. Harris County Public Health records 2,364 deaths and 159,737 recoveries.
Just recently, Dave Chappelle offered his condolences to Benny The Butcher, after he was robbed in Houston, during a packed show.
Dave Chappelle’s House of Blues Houston performance kicks off Thursday and ends on Saturday.
