6ix9ine has been hospitalized after having an adverse reaction to a mix of caffeine and diet pills, according to multiple reports.
The 24-year-old rapper had ingested coffee with two Hydroxycut pills causing heart palpitations and excessive sweating. He was admitted to a hospital in Florida.
According to an interview the rapper did with the Shade Room, Tekashi 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, was on a mission to lose weight after his stint in prison caused him to gain over 200 pounds. Since he’s been out of prison, he has lost 30 pounds.
He was using the Hydroxycut pills to expedite his weight loss progress, not aware that he had consumed more than the recommended daily dose. 6ix9ine also denies any illegal drug usage.
Recently, the self-proclaimed “King of New York” did an hour and a half interview on Impaulsive to discuss being blackballed from Billboard and the music industry, the happiest moments of his life, and the conversation about snitching. The interview garnered 6.7 million views to-date, with about 323,000 upvotes on YouTube. 6ix9ine also released his project TATTLETALES.
