DJ Envy is king when it comes to reinvention. That’s probably why he gets along so well with serial entrepreneur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, known for having nine lives in business, and literally, life itself.
Upon the news that Jackson is looking for a new home for his groundbreaking Power universe, the “Big Rich Town” rapper has teamed up with The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy for the structured reality series, Property Players, starring Envy and his longtime business associate, Cesar Pina. Jackson has joined in the capacity of executive producer under his G-Unit Film & TV banner.
Property Players will be featured on the DIY, home improvement weekend segment, Home.Made.Nation on A&E. The series will focus on flipping houses while mentoring celebrities in the world of real estate investment. Property Players is not to be associated with the podcast created by Chris Mouzon, which also focuses on real estate literacy and features guest speakers in the industry.
DJ Envy, real name RaaShaun Casey, 45, has been an advocate of real estate investment and financial literacy for several years, often discussing some of his business moves on his radio platform and offering real estate seminars alongside Pina.
Pina, the author of the 2021 book “Flipping Keys,” began his career in real estate in 2006 after transforming his life from drug trafficking and time in prison to creating a multi-million dollar real estate business, collaborating with the likes of Jackson, singer Don Omar, singer Nicky Jam, and music executive Johnny M.
In addition to G-Unit Film & TV, Fly on the Wall Entertainment and Lionsgate TV will produce, bringing on board Allison Grodner, Brad Holcman, Teri Kennedy, and Rich Meehan.
A premiere date has yet to be announced.
